Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in public school settings. This contract position will be based in schools located within the Dorchester County area, specifically at the elementary and middle school levels. The role is scheduled for the current school year, ending June 10th, 2026, with a full-time workweek of 37.5 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting communication skills.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Maryland license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Experience working in educational settings with K-12 students preferred.
  • Familiarity with speech-language assessments and intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location:

  • Positions available at elementary and middle schools within Dorchester County, Maryland.
