Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?/ph3Job Summary/h3pResponsible to greet and assist customers and ensure proper documentation and communication, internally and externally, for import operations./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliPrepare documentation prior to flight arrival or flight departure, review, organize, make copies and distribute accordingly./liliTravel to Airport Operational Area (AOA) to meet flight upon arrival or departure of flight to retrieve or drop off flight documents./liliNotify Broker or Freight Forwarder on the Master Airway Bill (MAWB) of shipments arrival at warehouse facility or on hold./liliProvide assistance to customers arriving to retrieve their documents and freight./liliCollect appropriate charges and document method of payment./liliProcess Customs Out (proof of delivery) for every transaction before the customers departure./liliAssist in completion of MAWBS for over-the-counter shipments./liliConfirm all bookings are accepted./liliConfirm TSA mandatory screening./liliConfirm Dangerous Goods (DG) have been checked within aircraft limits and follow specific procedures for DG shipments when received, including when shipment is abandoned by consignee./liliData capture AWB information into airline system(s)./liliManifest flight based on information received from the warehouse./liliPrint flight manifest, cargo pallet message, deadload and NOTOC and deliver to the aircraft./liliVerify post flight inventory with documents on hand./liliFile maintenance of all pertinent documents and records./liliPrepare various reports (Irregularity, Weekly Import and/or Export Statistics)./liliAnswer incoming calls and respond to emails./liliDemonstrate diligence required to maintain security under the Airport Police, TSA and United States./li/ulh3Minimum Requirements/h3ulliMust be at least 18 years of age./liliMust possess clean driving record and valid drivers license./liliMust provide proof of the legal right to work in the United States./li/ulh3Preferred Skills/h3ulliTyping skills with ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm./liliEnglish proficiency (e.g., reading, writing, speaking, listening)./liliMental abilities (e.g., visual observation and identification, mental rotation)./liliInterpersonal skills (e.g., customer service, dependability)./liliWork values (e.g., responsibility, honesty, integrity)./liliKnowledge of basic arithmetic and mathematics./liliComprehension of airway bill import procedures and government regulations./liliAttention to detail and organization skills./liliAbility to follow instructions from supervisor or lead agent./liliAbility to work as an effective team member./liliAbility to obtain U.S. Customs seal and license to drive on Airport Operational Area (AOA)./liliOffice skills including file maintenance, basic computer knowledge, answering telephone quickly and ability to multi-task./li/ulh3Physical Requirements/Working Conditions/h3ulliMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs./liliTolerate moderate to loud levels of noise within the work environment./liliStand and remain standing for periods up to 3 hours without sitting./liliDemonstrate daily a fitness for obligation without impairment due to illegal drugs, sleep deprivation, medication, or alcohol./liliMay be required to work all of the following: irregular hours and/or shifts, including split-shifts; holidays and weekends; overtime; and extended hours./li/ulh3Perks Benefits/h3ulliAccess your pay when you need it through DailyPay app!/liliOn the spot awards offered through the Awardco Platform including gift cards and more!/liliMultiple options for both full and part-time employees!/liliTravel Discounts, Pet insurance, Discount Shopping More!/liliWellness Programs offered to all employees!/lili401k program offered!/liliOpportunity for Internal Mobility and transfers available!/li/ulpWFS is an equal opportunity employer committed to employment equity and inclusion.
