JOB SUMMARY

The Mail Clerk's primary purpose is to provide support to the Legal Production teams. Responsibilities include processing incoming mail, preparing certified mailers, scanning documents, making copies and providing general office support as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process incoming mail, open and sort to appropriate legal assistant
• Preparing outgoing certified mail to support legal support teams
• Affix postage to packages or letters accurately using a postage meter
• Scheduling in-office pickup through Postal Service as needed
• Scanning incoming mail and importing into QLaw
• Making copies of legal documents and assembling packets for court
• Keep copy machines stocked with paper
• Provide general office support as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Follow both verbal and written instructions
• Complete work with high attention to detail
• Be reliable and productive

Experience, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Must complete work thoroughly and timely
• Knowledge of standard office equipment such as computers and copiers is a plus
• No previous experience required

Education : Minimum level of education typically required to perform the responsibilities of the position and list the preferred area(s) of study.
