Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Cardiology
Location: Valley View | Colorado
Schedule: Full-Time | Outpatient Clinic + Inpatient Coverage
Valley View is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with specialized experience in Cardiology to join our collaborative cardiovascular team. This role will provide both outpatient clinical care and inpatient rounding/consult services , offering comprehensive cardiac care and support throughout the patient journey.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough patient assessments and formulate individualized care plans.
Deliver safe, high-quality care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Proactively identify, manage, and communicate potential complications to the care team.
Perform inpatient rounding and cardiology consultations as needed.
Supervise and interpret a variety of stress tests including:
Echocardiographic
Exercise
Nuclear
Dobutamine
Supervise Tilt Table testing.
Contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration and maintain accurate documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Cardiology NP or PA in an outpatient setting.
Master's Degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited NP program or completion of an accredited PA program.
Unrestricted APN or PA license in Colorado (DORA) .
Active DEA license .
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required before start date.
Strong patient assessment, diagnostic, and cardiovascular examination skills.
Ability to function independently and effectively within a fast-paced clinical environment.
