Welcome to Branding Iron! We have the honor and responsibility of working in the food industry. This position organizes and facilitates maintenance on all production and facility equipment. The emphasis will be on equipment up time and resolving quality and production related issues including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting. Every individual on our team has specific strengths that help to drive innovation and productivity forward.
This is a full-time 3rd shift position. Hours are Sunday-Thursday 11:30 pm – 8:00 am with occasional OT.
Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
• Maintain equipment and facility in working order.
• Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication schedules.
• Document work completion and parts ordering and/or usage accurately.
• Attend to emergency breakdowns and problems concerning safety.
Key Requirements Include:
• Ability to operate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment and facility
• Above average aptitude in the use of tools and equipment of several trades or skills such as electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, machining, welding and hydraulics.
• Ability to work in a team-based, flexible and proactive maintenance program.
• Experience performing maintenance in a food manufacturing environment preferred but not necessary.
• Refrigeration experience is preferred but not required.
