Overview Join to apply for the Tasting Room Hospitality Professonal role at d'Ellena Winery & Vineyards , located in Rancho Cucamonga. d'Ellena Winery & Vineyards, formerly the historic Regina Winery, is building a team of passionate, service-oriented individuals to create unforgettable experiences for guests. Position begins as part of a new chapter for a wine and beer deck destination that blends indoor and outdoor experiences. Position Summary As a Tasting Room Hospitality Professional, you are the face and spirit of d'Ellena. You will report to the Wine Deck & Events Manager and are more than a server; you are a storyteller and a guide. Your primary role is to lead guests on a memorable journey through our portfolio of wines and craft beers. You will achieve this by providing warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service, creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and eager to return. Your Responsibilities Greet and welcome all guests with genuine enthusiasm. Present menus and expertly guide guests through our wine and beer selections. Conduct informative and engaging wine tastings, sharing the stories behind our vineyards and winemaking process. Take guest orders accurately and efficiently process payments using our POS system. Serve beverages, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Act as a brand ambassador, confidently answering questions. Maintain the pristine cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, bar service area, and patio areas, including polishing glassware and restocking supplies. Assist with the setup and breakdown for private events as needed. Uphold all ABC regulations and responsible beverage service standards. Other duties as assigned. Who You Are You have a genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive experiences for people. You are a natural communicator—charismatic, professional, and attentive. You are a team player with a positive, can-do attitude. You are eager to learn about wine and share that knowledge with others. You are reliable, punctual, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You must be 21 years of age or older. You have, or can obtain, a valid RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification and a California Food Handler's Certificate. You are able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays. You can stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. (equivalent to a case of wine). Previous experience in a winery, tasting room, upscale restaurant, or craft bar is highly preferred. Compensation & Benefits This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Paid Time Off (PTO).
