Our work keeps music free for millions of users across the world and contributes directly to a profitable and sustainable business for Spotify. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive core systems that shape ad delivery across two teams. This role is highly technical, spanning machine learning, auction pacing, and client platform capabilities. You’ll translate between business and engineering, guide senior ML and platform engineers, and manage a wide range of stakeholders to scale the future of Spotify Ads. What You'll Do Identify and prioritize needs for advertisers, listeners, and internal teams working on playback, ad formats, and ad serving Work cross-functionally with client and backend engineers, ML engineers, data scientists, product marketing, and PMs across Ads to identify and drive opportunities for improved revenue and user experience Create a roadmap to improve auction pacing, with a direct impact on Spotify revenue Define what good pacing looks like and move beyond “full budget delivery” as the sole objective, guiding the transition from heuristics to more efficient ML-driven spend Iterate on goal-based (or target cost) and automatic bidding algorithms Create a roadmap to improve client platform capabilities, enabling new placements and formats, providing real-time contextual signals for ranking, and improving our measurement of potential ad opportunities. Collaborate closely with core playback team to align the Spotify player vision with the ads vision Deliver consistent, measurable improvements while steering long-term architectural shifts Create a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing environment for your squad Who You Are You have 5+ years of experience driving technical products with proven user and business impact. You have worked with machine learning and understand how to build a roadmap around ML priorities. You have experience or an interest in advertising products. You are comfortable facilitating planning and decision-making across several teams, including partners, and know how to encourage and empower teams to get things done. You have sound business judgment as well as ability to analyze qualitatively, quantitatively, problem-solve, and prioritize. You have strong written and oral communications skills, and can clearly communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. Where You'll Be We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the Americas region as long as we have a work location. This team operates within the Eastern time zone for collaboration. The United States base range for this position is $142,203.00 - $203,147.00, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, a monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. Spotify is an equal opportunity employer. You are welcome at Spotify for who you are, no matter where you come from, what you look like, or what’s playing in your headphones. Our platform is for everyone, and so is our workplace. The more voices we have represented and amplified in our business, the more we will all thrive, contribute, and be forward-thinking! So bring us your personal experience, your perspectives, and your background. It’s in our differences that we will find the power to keep revolutionizing the way the world listens. At Spotify, we are passionate about inclusivity and making sure our entire recruitment process is accessible to everyone. We have ways to request reasonable accommodations during the interview process and help assist in what you need. If you need accommodations at any stage of the application or interview process, please let us know - we’re here to support you in any way we can. #J-18808-Ljbffr Spotify
