Texas Health Hospital Mansfield- Operates as a joint venture between Texas Health Resources and AdventHealth.

Schedule: Full-Time

Shift: 36 hours per week

The role you'll contribute:

\n \n\n \n

At AdventHealth Texas Hugley, our primary customers are patients and families. Our partners are physicians and our team members are all employees of AdventHealth Texas Hugley. The Patient Care Tech works under supervision of the professional nurse, assisting in performing specific duties and activities of daily living in caring for age specific groups identified in the position responsibilities. Adheres to the AdventHealth Texas Hugley Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

• Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse
\n \n\n \n
• Accurately performs vital signs and documents in the electronic medical record
\n \n\n \n
• Documents and reports all procedures accurately and in accordance with department policy.
\n \n\n \n\n

\n

Perform duties and patient care according to policy and procedure.

\n \n\n \n

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

\n \n\n \n\n

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
\n \n
• Current Texas Certified Nurse's Aide OR Graduate of an approved Hospital specific PCT Training Program (i.e. THR/THH or Center for Learning Program) OR Nursing student who has completed fundamentals (must continually be enrolled and active in nursing school during employment), OR military experience with medical training equivalent.
\n \n\n \n
• Basic Life Support - (BLS) Required
\n \n\n \n\n

Preferred qualifications:

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• 1 year Work Experience Preferred
\n \n\n \n\n
