Orthopedic Physician Assistant

At Alpha Orthopedics & Sports Medicine , we’ve proudly served the North Texas community for over 12 years with advanced, patient-centered orthopedic care. With clinic locations in McKinney and Prosper , our team provides expert care to patients of all ages and activity levels.

We’re led by:

• Dr. Jon C. Thompson , double board-certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, with specialties in ACL reconstruction, cartilage preservation, and shoulder instability.
• Dr. Brian J. Snow , board-certified and fellowship-trained, focusing on total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, as well as sports-related injuries.

We’re seeking a full-time Orthopedic Physician Assistant to support our growing practices in McKinney and Prosper . You’ll assist in surgical cases, manage clinical care, and collaborate with top orthopedic surgeons to deliver outstanding outcomes for our patients.

• First-assist in orthopedic surgeries
• Conduct exams, consultations, and follow-ups
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care
• Develop treatment plans alongside supervising surgeons
• Educate patients throughout their recovery journey
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with active Texas license
• Master’s degree from an accredited PA program
• Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred
• Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced practice
• Willingness to work across both McKinney and Prosper locations
