Forward Traffic & Marking is actively seeking a proactive and experienced Traffic Control Operations Manager to lead and oversee traffic control projects across Wisconsin . This position is flexible to report to Green Bay, Fond Du Lac, Milwaukee, or Madison locations. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE TRAFFIC CONTROL OPERATIONS MANAGER

As the Traffic Control Operations Manager , you will oversee all aspects of traffic control projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and on time. You'll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and budgeting, and you will manage inventory and procurement to ensure resources are available when needed. A key part of your role will involve supervising project managers and ensuring they are adhering to safety protocols and company policies. You will also be responsible for maintaining smooth communication with the Director of Operations to keep them updated on project progress.

Your role will focus on maintaining operational efficiency, upholding safety standards, and addressing any delays or emergencies that may arise during the course of a project. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with relevant regulations and contribute to financial reporting related to project costs and revenue.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in project management, civil engineering, or a related field (MS/MA is a plus), or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in road construction and 2 years in management. A valid driver's license and excellent driving record are required. The role involves physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, and driving for extended periods. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software is essential. The candidate must analyze financial data, manage traffic control operations, and ensure safety and compliance with industry regulations. Strong communication skills and a commitment to professional ethics and safety are key.
