Job SummaryGeisinger is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our NICU team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Job Duties Opportunity Details
- 12 bed, Level III NICU
- 16 & 24-hour shifts
- 2,000+ deliveries annually
- No outpatient clinic
Essential Responsibilities
- Attending deliveries/delivery room management of all infants less than 35 weeks and other high-risk indications
- Admissions including history and physical
- Assessments and ongoing management of current NICU patients
- Intubation
- Umbilical line placement
- Chest tubes
- Arterial puncture
- Arterial line placement
- Ventilator management
- Others as applicable
EducationMaster's Degree-Nurse Practitioner (Required)
Certification(s) and License(s)Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body; Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania; Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
