Oversees and optimizes the logistics and supply chain vendor management process to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant transportation and distribution services.**What you’ll do** Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Vendor Relationship Management and Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain strategic and tactical relationships with logistics vendors, monitor their performance against established targets, and implement corrective actions as needed. • Process Improvement and Implementation: Define, design, and implement logistics processes and strategies, leading initiatives to improve efficiency and support key strategic goals. • Contract Negotiation and Compliance: Lead contract negotiations with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and provide financial analysis support. • Project Leadership and Collaboration: Lead multiple logistics projects, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and act as a Subject Matter Expert for supply chain initiatives and product launches. • Reporting, Analysis, and Problem Resolution: Conduct sophisticated financial and operational analysis, prepare reports, resolve complex problems, and support the development of goals and budgets.**What you’ll need** • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. • 3+ years of related experience.**What you’ll bring** • Oversees the daily operations of their team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. • This role focuses on immediate team management, task delegation, and the resolution of day-to-day issues. • Typically leads occupational staff within the organization. • Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action and promotional activity for subordinates.**Supervisor: Yes****Our Manager-Logistics, earns between$93,400 - $140,200**.
