**Assembler** **_Available shift: 1st shift_** **_Location: Johnstown, PA_** **_Pay rate starts at 17$/hr_** **Job Description** We are currently seeking dedicated Circuit Card Assemblers (CCA) responsible for producing quality work according to prescribed standards. The role emphasizes continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget. Successful candidates will follow detailed work instructions and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, including the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment. **Responsibilities** + Produce quality work to meet prescribed standards. + Follow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment. + Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE). + Participate in LEAN Events and Six S activities. + Support and reinforce the mission, values, and culture of the organization. + Perform entry-level assembly functions, including prep, mechanical, harness, cable, and printed circuit board sub-assemblies. + Perform spray applications and inspections based on models and/or drawings. + Complete simple assemblies and hardware installation, including screws, washers, and nuts. + Understand and follow the build documentation. + Perform pull-tests, verify tooling, and use torque tools. + Interpret and assemble multiple units, including basic troubleshooting. + Access production tools such as routers, parts lists, and work instructions. + Conduct wire prep, auto bond, and sleeving. **Essential Skills** + Experience in assembly, circuit board assembly, and electronic assembly. + Ability to read blueprints and wire tabulation. + Proficiency in soldering, mechanical assembly, and using hand tools. + Experience with circuit board repair and quality control. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnstown, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
