* St Lucia Eye Center is an independently owned ophthalmology practice. It is not owned by a private equity company. Why is this important to a recently graduated optometrist? This means that you will not be required to meet a "quota" for daily patients seen. We are centered on quality of care - not rushing hundreds of patients out the door on a daily basis.

As a recent graduate, you will be exposed to a diverse range of eye conditions. We have an excellent team of skilled technicians that will assist and support you to provide quality of care. Our reviews speak volumes of our level of service.
* Candidate Assets - We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual with a high commitment to providing excellent eye care. You are motivated to learn and able to offer empathy to our patients. You are able to work well in a team environment. Conversational Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.
* *Daily Responsibilities*:
* Diagnose and provide treatment of ocular diseases including treatment of corneal ulcers, dry eye syndrome, lid disorder, abrasions, diabetic and hypertensive retina pathology. As well assisting the ophthalmologist to diagnose cataract in patients.
* *Qualifications:*
* Valid state license to practice optometry in California
* Recent graduate from school of optometry is accepted

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
