Your Role as a Nocturnist:

• Oversee and manage the care of hospitalized patients overnight, working in collaboration with specialists and the daytime hospitalist team.
• Respond to ER calls and admit patients at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center from 7 PM to 7 AM (schedule coordinated within the team).
• Perform in-house coverage, ensuring optimal patient care and timely decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with PCPs and specialists to ensure continuity of care.
• Transition care efficiently to the daytime hospitalist team.
• Participate in hospital committees, quality initiatives, and KSC Internal Medicine Department activities.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Active Texas Medical License
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Passion for Hospital Medicine and Patient Care Excellence
