systMD, LLC, based in Little Falls, New Jersey, is seeking a motivated IT professional to join our team. We specialize in providing top-tier IT services and are looking for a candidate with strong technical skills and a passion for innovation. This position is for on-premise and NOT work-from-home.
MUST be able to:
-Work on computer hardware and software upgrades.
-Build a desktop computer.
-Work on all types of computer repairs.
-Work on networking & network troubleshooting.
-Run network cabling.
-Set up Unifi equipment and most firewalls.
-Administer and troubleshoot server environments.
-Drive a motor vehicle for service calls.
Must have PROFICIENCY in:
-Windows, Apple/Mac, and Server operating systems.
-Microsoft 365 products: OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.
-Active Directory.
-Diagnosing and repairing common hardware issues and repair procedures for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
-Networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
-Unifi, SonicWall, Fortinet, etc.
-Analyzing and resolving complex technical problems in a timely and effective manner.
-Ability to install patch panels/server racks, run ethernet cabling, and keystone jacks.
IT Key RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on desktop and laptop systems.
-Provide support for both Windows and Mac operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
-Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot networking hardware (routers, switches, etc.) and software.
-Perform routine maintenance on systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
-Provide technical support to clients, both in-person and remotely from the office, for various IT-related issues.
-Install, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, network issues, and other security systems.
-Assist with printer-based troubleshooting.
-Drive and travel on-site to locations as needed.
