Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Mechanical Engineer position include:- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia or South Carolina desired- 5–10 years of experience in mechanical system design, specifically HVAC systems; federal project experience preferred- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD, and Microsoft Office tools- Support startup and commissioning of complex HVAC systems and equipment- Provide technical expertise on DX cooling, return air, humidity control, and water-side systems- Collaborate with controls teams to integrate mechanical and automation systems- Travel to job sites for testing, commissioning, and project support as neededSalary: $80,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
