Job Description

Jimmy’s Gourmet Bakery is looking for a dynamic HR Specialist to provide on-site HR support across key areas like employee relations, staffing, onboarding, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper staffing across all departments (production, warehouse, office, maintenance)
• Support managers with coaching, performance management, and employee development
• Lead investigations and address employee concerns with professionalism and care
• Manage temp staffing vendors and relationships
• Prepare job offers, onboard new hires, and keep personnel files up to date
• Process payroll and oversee timekeeping and invoice approvals
• Deliver employee training, including safety and anti-harassment
• Participate in HR compliance and audit efforts

Essential Skills:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• 3–5 years of HR experience in a company with 100+ employees
• Previous experience in manufacturing or warehousing
• Strong Excel, Word, and HRIS skills
• Confident communicator and trainer, comfortable with public speaking
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally between sites

Work Environment

• Office setting, with occasional factory floor and warehouse exposure.
• Long-periods of sitting and computer use are involved.
• Products manufactured in the facility may contain peanuts, tree nuts, and other potential allergens.
