Job Title: Email Marketing Developer

Reporting to: Marketing Operations Specialist

Location: On-Site (O'Fallon, MO)

Position Type: Full-time Exempt

Summary:

Milestone Marketing Solutions is looking for a marketing professional looking to specialize in data-driven email deployment and analytics. From experience or education, an ideal candidate will have technical competency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel, and experience or familiarity with Email Deployment Tools. The Email Marketing Specialist will contribute to planning, developing, implementing and maintaining the overall company's email marketing strategy.

Essential Job Duties:

• Our best candidate will be motivated to learn new tools and processes, excited to take new approaches to existing systems, and have an interest in the unique data flows and waterfalls that makes Milestone run
• Manage content A/B testing to drive continuous improvement in a variety of campaigns
• Data analytics background would also be beneficial, with a candidate having an eagerness to analyze performance and suggest adjustments with data selection and creative deployment
• Take requirements from non-technical stakeholders, plan workflows, and execute email marketing campaigns
• Operate in an Agile development environment utilizing Jira and other Atlassian products for project management

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency with JavaScript or similar languages
• Experience with responsive HTML design, preferably in emails
• Experience with Handlebars, EJS, or other HTML templating engines
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (formerly ExactTarget)
• An understanding of REST and SOAP APIs
• Familiarity with CRM systems, data flows, and relational databases
• Microsoft Office Proficiency, Excel focused
• Experience with DNS, git, or PowerShell are pluses

Work Environment:

• The work environment consists of exposure to physical conditions typical of a normal office environment.
