Job Description

Brunel is currently searching for an Electrical Engineer for direct hire with our client near Evansville, Indiana .

As an Electrical Engineer you will be providing support to production, maintenance and engineering in this critical role. You will be responsible for electrical systems integrated with manufacturing and equipment in this production facility.

Duties:

• Provide support for process improvements and new electrical systems in line with business plan.
• Coordinate all phases of assigned electrical engineering projects from concept, development, specifications, bids, design, manufacturing, equipment, commissioning through project closure.
• Assist production and maintenance with equipment and process issues.
• Problem solve and provide root cause analysis for long-term improvements of equipment and processes.
• Lead and participate in process improvements with multi-disciplined technical teams, maintenance and production.
• Mentor employees to increase their knowledge of equipment and processes.

Requirements:

• UPDATE - client willing to consider TN visa candidates.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 5+ years’ experience with PLC’s, HMI’s, AC/DC drives and motors.
• Low and medium voltage, power distribution.
• Experience with mentoring, leading projects.
• MUST be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship.
• Experience trouble shooting and root cause problem solving.
• Experience with capital projects.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization skills.
