The qualified candidate will act as an operations specialist assisting in the development and test of cutting-edge safety‐related technologies. The role includes mission planning and lightweight maintenance duties. The candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, a safety‑oriented attitude, flexibility, and enthusiasm for cutting‑edge technology. This individual will also conduct limited operation readiness activities and logistics planning as needed. The role will also require cross‑team training to support teams such as delivery sites for pre‑launch tasks. The candidate will join a Research and Development team working on inventing and developing new transformative experiences. Requirements 2+ years of Remote‑Control pilot experience with excellent coordination and execution. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion, stand/walk for up to 8–10 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Experience leading small teams. Travel up to 75% of the year. Valid Driver’s License and able to satisfy client driver eligibility criteria. Work in volatile weather conditions (heat, rain, wind, snow) within established safety thresholds. Drive to off‑site work locations daily (work vehicle provided). Work variable shifts and schedules including weekends when applicable. Overtime may be required and approved based on work assignment. MVR test required as part of background check; drug test not required. R&D program changes frequently. Typical Day in the Role Start as early as 3 am and end as late as midnight. Possible weekends, especially if traveling. 5 days a week: crews start at 1:00 pm and end at 8:30 pm (8 hour shift), which can change. Extension possible Conversion possible Role Interesting Gaining experience within the team with possibility to grow and meet outside specific locations. Preferred Skills Experience with commercial UAS industry. Aviation safety experience as a Safety Officer or similar. Excellent business communications and reporting skills. Part 107 license required.
