the Charleston SC area   needs to hire an EXPERIENCED GENERAL SALES MANAGER/GSM   who’s a strong producer and team builder with excellent profit experience . Applicants must have at least 3 years of stable employment history at the GM/GSM level with a proven track record of verifiable, above average CSI and market share performance. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the area's finest dealerships. Responsibilities - General Sales Manager/GSM

 

  • Responsible for the operations and profitability of sales departments
  • Oversee dealership staffing, hiring and training of new employees
  • Set sales quotas and goals and assists in financing arrangements
  • Actively support, encourage, and motivate managers daily to maintain high morale
  • Exhibit a professional management style that sets the example for enthusiasm, productivity, and accountability
  • Accountable for daily performance metrics in store performance
  • Support other operational units within the store to achieve maximum return on opportunity for the dealership
  • Supervise Sales Managers, F&I Managers and Salespeople

 

 

Qualifications - General Sales Manager/GSM:
 

  • Must have at least 3 years of stable employment history at the GM/GSM level with a proven track record of verifiable, above average CSI and market share performance
  • Must be a strong producer and team builder with excellent profit experience
  • Must be process and goal driven and hold the sales team accountable for results. 
  • Must be well organized and demonstrate excellent Customer Service and PR skills
  • Must have strong leadership, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Must have basic accounting and advanced computer skills
  • The highest professionalism and integrity are essential for consideration.
