The AVP-CSO oversees campus master planning, construction, facilities operations, sustainability, and environmental health and safety to meet campus, SUNY, and New York State goals. The AVP also serves as a member of the Vice President of Finance and Administration’s Senior Staff and often represents the campus with the State University Construction Fund and Dormitory Authority of New York. The AVP is responsible for achieving facilities deliverables, supporting team members in professional development, and utilizing mentoring, communication, and team-building skills to adapt to evolving campus needs and projects.
