Job Description

As an Armed Security Guard - Government Patrol - Full Time in Butner, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as they arise, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. Your presence and professionalism will help create a welcoming atmosphere for all individuals at the location.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and adherence to established protocols.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to site requirements.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • North Carolina Armed Security Professional License is preferred.
  • North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
