Position Overview:

As an Airport Ramp Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and timely handling of customer baggage and air cargo. Enjoy the dynamic atmosphere of working on the airport ramp while collaborating with a friendly team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Protect customer luggage, air cargo, and airmail from loss, theft, and damage.
• Safely lift, load, unload, and transfer baggage, airmail, and freight in and out of aircraft.
• Record and manage customer baggage and airfreight accurately.
• Transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft while maintaining records.
• Use computer systems to track and catalogue luggage.
• Complete necessary paperwork and input data into the company's systems.
• Assist with various tasks as assigned related to the role.

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass a background check for up to 10 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
• Completion of ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 70 pounds regularly.
• Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• One year of relevant experience in a similar role.
