ACT/SAT Online Math Coach (Private Family – Remote, Contract) Custom Path Coaching partners with families and students nationwide to deliver personalized academic coaching, executive functioning support, and test preparation tailored to each learner’s strengths, goals, and learning profile. We specialize in helping high‑achieving and neurodiverse students build confidence, independence, and academic success through individualized instruction and holistic coaching. About the Role A private family, in partnership with Custom Path Coaching, is seeking a highly qualified and discreet ACT/SAT Math Coach to provide one‑on‑one virtual coaching for two students preparing for college entrance exams. This is a contract position offering flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and professional environment. Responsibilities Deliver engaging, individualized online coaching sessions focused on SAT and/or ACT Math . Assess student strengths and areas for growth; design and implement personalized learning plans . Monitor progress and communicate regular updates to the Academic Manager. Provide targeted strategies for test‑taking, critical reasoning, and time management . Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise the highest level of professional discretion at all times. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a Top 50 university (STEM or quantitative field strongly preferred). 3+ years of experience tutoring or coaching students for the SAT and/or ACT. Proven success helping students achieve significant score improvements. Experience working with diverse learners and unique or high‑profile families requiring discretion and professionalism. Excellent communication, adaptability, and organization skills. Proficiency with remote learning platforms (Zoom, Google Workspace, online whiteboards, etc.). Additional Requirements Ability to work with integrity and maintain confidentiality in sensitive family environments. Background check required prior to engagement. 2–4 hours per week, with flexibility for additional sessions as needed. Competitive hourly rate , commensurate with experience and proven results. Fully remote and flexible scheduling.
